About I am a comic artist and illustrator. I explore the use of rich vibrant colors in my work, combining moody settings with whimsical and strange monsters. I draw on mythological legends as well as modern settings. I like writing and drawing for weird and traditional fantasy using just a pinch of humor. In my art I combine digital painterly effects with layered textures to create gritty texture and color. I primarily use Photoshop for all my work, but also like working with acrylics, watercolor, and gouache. I use various styles of inking depending on the overall mood of the piece. My artwork often has bright and saturated color palettes to suggest the otherworldly. My current comic Toxic World opens up in a dystopian world full of mad science and social decay. It relies on the harsh and vivid visuals of a toxic environment to create the sense of dread and struggle that the characters live through. This comic is divided into small chunks to that I can experiment with different styles unique to each narrative.
